The surf was a bit of a let down after the previous day's swell. So with only a few hours of good weather before the rain set in, I painted this small study of the cliffs just around the corner from the main beach.

    Thanks Dave. The heather was looking great; I love it! I wanted to do a little more to the sea, but the light went so quickly that it had changed completely since I began the painting!
