    Very good nocturne I know this scene well but have never got a good painting of it, I obviously didn't stay up late enough!

    Ha ha! Thanks Rob, I think the close tones and lack of detail probably help a bit. Strictly speaking it was more dusk/twilight, but was dark by the time I'd 'finished'....
