I painted this watercolour of Newgale beach whilst waiting for the tide to drop back a little, and the waves to improve before surfing. They did, but before I had finished the picture! Luckily, the light was still good by the time I got out, and so I finished the painting off then. In the distance is the distinctive shape of Ricketts Head.
