This is another plein air painting, in gouache, of a fantastic place called Porth-y-Rhaw in Pembrokeshire. The hill fort to left of the picture was very substantial and the earthworks were extremely impressive. They also made a great slide for some children to tumble down whilst I was painting. You can read a bit more about it and the area here. The light kept changing and it was a bit of a struggle, but I was fairly happy with the end result.
